Technology is awesome but it can also be
malignant. Tech at its core is what helps
us but at what cost? Money is a technology
that allows us to trade efficiently but at
what cost? Society may be considered
technology but at what cost? The infamous
"Unibomber" (Ted Kaczynski) argued in
his manifesto the worsening effects of
technological growth or advancement.
He unfortunately destroyed everything
around him by his own madness.

Increasingly, the topics of quantum
theory, artificial intelligence, robotics,
nuclear power, UFOs, time travel, aliens,
even consciousness are being touched upon
across all domains. Top academics—from
physicists to biologists, even religious
studies—are increasingly touching on
unexplainable phenomena and relatable
concepts. Some would argue that we are
discovering the culmination and merge of
science and religion, or the unification of
the east and west.

The quantum computer, which transcends
the typical computer, promises to be a
prediction machine, simulating algorithms
at an unimaginable scale. This technology will
"fix all our problems", cure "cancer", and
make everybody "rich" with all their wishes.
How utopian, how relieving, how glorious
but as many come and say "not in my lifetime".

There are "accelerationists" (people who
wish to accelerate our technological capabilities)
that wish to leverage all our technology to
be interstellar, live amongst other solar systems
and traverse the universe. There are "globalists"
(people who care about interconnectedness across
the globe) that are in every country, every
industry, and every mind who wish to control
a bit of everything for whatever reason.
Seemingly, they may just be the same
character with something up their sleeve.

The Buddhist acknowledges desire as our
own suffering, Nietzsche said if you wish to
self-overcome or master the self, you will suffer
from it, Schopenhauer also concluded that all
your wanting leads to eventual dissatisfaction,
the Stoic realizes this by their own actions and
thoughts. As life continues without us, being
human may just be about ending someday.
There's no life without death, so dont rush it.
